My approach is relaxed and easygoing, which helps everyone feel comfortable. I'll offer gentle direction, but I'm also all about capturing genuine connection. Bring snacks for little ones, keep expectations low, and just show up ready to enjoy time together—you'll be surprised how effortless it feels.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
If we're shooting outdoors and the weather isn't cooperating, I am happy to reschedule for a date that works for both of us. Your comfort is important, so I always keep an eye on the forecast and communicate clearly if anything needs to shift.
WHERE DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Sessions can be help outdoors, in-home, or at a location that feels meaningful to you. If you need help deciding, I'm happy to suggest spots that match the mood and lighting style you're envisioning—whether it's city/urban, beautiful nature, or cozy indoors.

It’s simple—once you’ve filled out the contact form and we’ve chatted about your vision, I’ll send over a contract and retainer invoice to officially secure your date. From there, I’ll guide you through the next steps so everything feels easy and clear.
how far in advance should I book a portrait session
I recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advance! However, don't hesitate to reach out—I'll always do my best to accommodate your preferred date.
CAN I BOOK A MINI SESSION?
I offer a limited number of seasonal mini sessions each year. Join my email list or follow me on Instagram to be the first to know when those dates are released!
HOW LONG ARE PORTRAIT SESSIONS?
Sessions typically range from 20 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the collection you choose. I'll guide you every step of the way, so things feel natural and never rushed.
what should we wear?
Simple, neutral tones always photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on you. Think coordination, not necessarily matching. I also love a mixture of texture and layers!
Can we order albums and prints from our session?
Yes! Your gallery will include access to professional-quality prints, framed art, and albums. These make beautiful keepsakes and gifts.
