Styled Studio Maternity Session at Artist Uprising Studios

Some sessions feel like full-circle moments—and this studio maternity session was one of them.

I met Gabby when my daughter was just a toddler. She was her preschool teacher, and from day one, I knew she was special. As a mom, it’s never easy to leave your child in someone else’s care—especially when they’re so little. But Gabby gave me so much peace. Her warmth, patience, and the way she loved on my daughter made such an impact on our family. Over the years, we’ve kept in touch, and now, nearly six years later, I had the honor of photographing her own maternity session as she prepares to welcome her baby boy in June 2025.

Gabby is the kind of person who lights up a room—and let me just say, she photographs like a supermodel. But beyond that, she’s deeply kind, calm, and full of love. It made this studio session feel even more meaningful.

A Thoughtful, Styled Studio Maternity Session

This wasn’t just a typical maternity shoot—we planned something really special to reflect Gabby’s style and the beauty of this season in her life. We had a two-hour studio session at Artist Uprising Studio in Richardson, Texas Four different looks with each one chosen to highlight a different mood. From classic black and white to soft neutral tones, each outfit and pose was designed to bring out her confidence and femininity.

Before the shoot, I created a custom mood board and inspiration guide to help shape the vision. We talked about what felt most authentic to her—elegant, soft, and empowering—and every decision, from wardrobe to backdrop, reflected that.
